It's almost like a more mature, more bloody version of Percy Jackson o.O
Just a few of my favorite quotes from there:
'My lord,' The assassin cried from above. 'Are you alright?'
'Just fine,' Malus snarled. 'These jagged rocks managed to break my fall.'
---------------
---------------
'Hauclir,' Malus said sourly, 'While it is your duty to test my food for poison, you don't have to eat half the cheese to do it'
Hauclir paused in mid-chew. 'Test for poison, my lord?
---------------
'Do you typically block your opponent's sword with your face, Hauclir?'
---------------
---------------
'Perhaps I should make you walk the deck all night until you learn.'
'Will that be after you've pulled out my fingernails and torn out my eyes with a fishbone?'
'Eh?'
'Well, since we've come aboard, you've threatened to pull out my fingernails for being late with your food, and tear my eyes out with a fishbone for spilling that wine'
'Are you mocking me, you wretch?'
'Just trying to be helpful, my lord'
---------------
'I've already worn that,' Malus said flatly.
'Excellent, then we're sure it fits'
---------------
'You can't inspect the scouts, they're gone'
'Gone? Gone for what?!'
'To scout what else? They can't be out there looking for the enemy if they're here kissing your arse!'
---------------
'If someone is better at the game than you, change the rules'
---------------
Do I even need to establish how freaking awesome that series is?
No?
Good :P
Also, epic moment of the day:
Usman: 'Okay, Ali, from now on I shall be a role model. I will not curse, and try to be a much better person. We really need to set a good example for the kids to follow'
Me: Usman, Usman, Usman. When will you learn? You can't just quit swearing like that, it's haywired into your system. This kind of talk is really cheap, ya'know?
Usman: *Makes a disgusted face* Ali, fuck off.
Wait. o__o Oh, shi-
Me: What'd I tell you?
I don't have anything against being role-models for leetul cheeldren, but I won't let you go near the kids with a resolution you can't stick to either.
The innocent minds of the little ones should not be corrupted by someone at such a young age.
But, yeah, other than that little piece of 'LoL', there was nothing interesting that happened today. I just happened to blog because I wasn't blogging as of late, just picking up images from 'Imagfav' and commenting on them. :P Lol.
Anyhow
I have the strangest, most weirdest dreams these days. Wait, dreams isn't the term for it
Nightmares
'Nightmare' what an odd name. 'Night' and 'Mare' joined together. And 'Mare' means a young horse. So I wonder why the person who coined the term chose to compared a bad dream to a mare that comes out at night?
Maybe he dreamed about ninja-assassin-mares?
Yes. I is weird.
Anyhow
These aren't usual nightmares. Like those 'Oh-Haha-It-Was-A-Dream' (Or, if you think like me, 'That-Would-Make-An-EPIC-Horror-Story') dreams. They are horrible. Horrible and twisted.
My best bet is that I go lucid. Atleast, then I have some measure of 'control' over my dream.
Plus, waking up from a lucid state is pure awesome!
I'd compare the sensation to hyperspeeding through a tunnel.
Passing over the subject of horrible dreams
I've decided that at some point in my life, I want to be a teacher. For either Pakistan-History or Islamiyat. Or Economics. Or Business Studies. Or English literature. Or sociology. Or a debating instructor ('twould be EPIC). Or- You get the drill. :P
I want to teach.
Impart my knowledge into the minds of young children.
Influence a whole generation through my ideas
And making sure that the next generation of Pakistanis realize their potential.
But before setting standards for future students, I think I should meet the standards that have been set for me.
95 percent!!!!
Anyway, Cambridge marking scheme criteria went down. It's 80% for an A and 90% for an A* now (instead of the 85% A and 95% A*)
HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF.
Also
I just realized how I managed to insert academics into every blog entry as of late :P So, I'll shut up.
So it's time for me to go, Bob.
Like always, I'll miss ya.
Don't be a-stalkin'!
Until Next Time
