Happy New 4th of Jan 2014.

It's 9:38. School starts tomorrow. Cousins are over. I just lost a high stakes game of FIFA 14 to my younger brother. I'll have to wake up at 6 a.m tomorrow after a whole two weeks of my body adjusting to waking up at 14:00. I'll also have to face my Economics and Accounting teachers. Both of whom think I'm flunking, because I didn't take their classes throughout all of Assessment Week. Why? Because I go home with my friend Saad now (you'll be hearing that name in a bit again), and he's a sciences subjects student. I take business subjects (and law too). Normally, we both go at the same time. During assessment week, his classes were over by 11. My Economics teacher showed up at 11. My accounting teacher? He showed up at 13:00. And Saad had this little brother who had tuition at 12. And our school is a twenty minute drive from our home.

Very little economics. No accounting. For THREE WEEKS. Did I mention that I didn't take Accounting in my O-levels, so I'm starting from what my Hungarian-Pakistani O-levels business studies teacher used to affectionately call Nulla. And my finals are in roundish 95 days. And I have to debate. And I have to serve as the EVERYTHING of the school magazine. And we could go to MUNs. Plus I have a family event coming up soon.I just. I don't know. If there was ever a time when I was close to shatterpoint, this is literally it. I still have to go through tomorrow when I listen to my teachers' rants. And the way they phrase it just...Hurts.
'Now I didn't think that you were an average student, you know? But your marks? They give the opposite impression'.

I do get the strategy of putting pressure on a student so that he'll serious up and work harder, but when you've already been bent thrice over, that pressure has the power to destroy people.

I've always consoled myself by saying 'It's always God's plan that things happen in such a way.' but, seriously. This is just too much. And the worst thing is this is just realization. I'm going to live through this realization.
Bah. I almost don't want to type anymore.

Well, on the plus side, today I bought my first hoodie. Only took me nearly 18 years to get to it.

But, I digress. This isn't what I wanted to write in the blog, really. This isn't what I wanted to record. What I wanted to write about was the story of the 4th of January, 2014. How I spent the New Year. I even typed out the title first.

Okay, I tried. I can't. Sorry. Maybe I'll type it out another day. G'night.
