Taking a break.

First off, to Laila, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I know, it's been over three weeks, and that is just too long a time, so much that I don't even think it's okay to reply anymore without dying of shame. And the problem is, I don't think I can carry on with anything after this either: no blog posts, no extended messages.
I actually never really believed anyone who ever said 'I don't have the time for ______'. I always used to think 'Well, that's not possible. There's always time for something, as long as you try hard enough.'

Well, now I stand educated.

The electricity breakouts have worsened, meaning that my time online, or even studying has to be limited. I come home from school at 3 pm. 'lectricity goes at four. Returns at five. Goes at seven. Returns at eight. Goes at nine. Keep in mind that I need my eight hours of rest, so this means that I have to be in bed by nine, or else risk going to school groggy eyed and zombified.
On top of that, I only have about six weeks before my exams start. SIX WEEKS. SIX BLOODY WEEKS.
I DON'T EVEN KNOW TRIGONOMETRY. OR MENSURATION. OR CIRCLE PROPERTIES. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IN MATHEMATICS?! Plus, economics leaves me clueless. The phrase 'Cos Theta' gives me a headache, and business studies tips into accounting at times and leaves me with my mouth hanging open. This is not okay.

And also keep in mind that it gets dark after six, so that means that when the electricity that goes out at seven leaves me unable to study, or even go online. My dad's pressuring me for six hours of study, continuously. The most I can manage with this schedule is three. I haven't seen a movie in three weeks. The last Xbox game I played was Mass Effect 3, and that was a 15 minute session. I haven't written a story in ages. I've started writing a blog post multiple times, but I always leave halfway through because I can't find the time to finish. Likewise with your messages, Lai. I write half of it, then time calls and I have to grit my teeth and leave.

Plus, remember how I said this was the Year of the Acts? Well, I think the year took that statement almost too close to heart. I won't say much about it, because, well, it's something that needs to be described in detail for the full effect of it, but, well: MUN. Carnival. Debates. Guy/Girl things. Exams. Lots and lots of walking home from halfway across the city.

This is just too much to handle.

And yet, life goes on. Baaah.

Anyhow, I'm taking a break now. No more blog posts. No more long messages. The only place I can be available for a chat is either Skype, or Facebook. You can always message me for contact details if you so wish. Other than that, I shall be a hermit.

A sad hermit who's getting crushed by exams. v.v

Also: a (very short) spam of pictures, just to prove that I really have been busy.

First row, Bottom right.

AZERBAIJAN!

If it looks like I hadn't slept for three days and was awake solely on the basis of Coffee, that's because I was.

'This house believes that...'

Adios.
